Why Lola
Learn Spanish with Lola teaches the Spanish they actually speak in Spain, and the country behind it. Most apps default to Latin American Spanish; Lola is built around Castilian pronunciation, vocabulary and the everyday habits that make the language make sense once you land.
There are over 1,000 words and phrases, each with real Castilian audio, phonetics and an example sentence; 50 essential verbs fully conjugated across present, past and future; and 30 slang expressions the textbooks leave out. Conversations are set where you'll need them: a restaurant, a taxi, a hotel, a shop.
Practice adapts to you. Flash cards bring back the words you got wrong, ten games are built from your own vocabulary, and a pronunciation test listens and scores you out loud. The whole app can be used in English, Portuguese, German, French, Italian, Russian, Ukrainian, Chinese, Japanese or Hindi.
